Bhubaneswar: In a significant step towards enhancing healthcare, CARE Hospitals in Bhubaneswar, in partnership with The Billion Knee Project and Health & Harmony Trust, organized CARE Rebound 2.0. This healthcare conclave focused on promoting multidisciplinary collaboration and innovation in patient-centered care.
The event, supported by knowledge partners Indian Association of Physiotherapy and Health & Harmony Trust, attracted leading doctors, physiotherapists, and healthcare experts from Odisha and West Bengal.
More than 60 physiotherapists from 30 districts participated, alongside 16 distinguished delegates. Health & Family Welfare Minister Mukesh Mahaling, who was the chief guest, emphasized the importance of initiatives like CARE Rebound in shaping Odisha's healthcare future.
He stated, “We are developing a strong healthcare ecosystem ready to tackle future challenges.” Assembly Speaker Surama Padhy was present as the guest of honor.
Sandeep Singh, head of the Orthopaedics department and Chief Consultant in Robotic Surgery and Sports Injury, remarked, “Robotic and advanced surgeries are revolutionizing patient treatment, making it safer, quicker, and more precise.”
He further noted that CARE Rebound plays a vital role in raising awareness and extending these advancements to a broader audience in Odisha. The keynote address was delivered by Amlan Jyoti Mohanty, founder of Health & Harmony Trust, who advocated for enhanced integrative health strategies and community involvement.
Other notable attendees included Kislay Anand, Zonal COO of Care Hospitals, and Lokanath Dash, AVP of Marketing & Business Development.
